After only one year, Madonna has decided it’s time to break up with the home she bought from Canadian superstar The Weeknd. According to Mansion Global , Madonna is making a hefty profit, considering there haven’t been any significant updates to the house. In 2020, Madonna snapped up the property in Hidden Hills (the gated community is a favorite of celebs like Drake and the Kardashians) for $19m, after it had been on the market for 10 months. Now it’s listed for $26m.

According to the real estate site The Agency , the 13,391-square-foot, seven-bedroom home was built in 2017 and also comes with a two-bedroom guesthouse. Dotted by redwood trees and lush lawns, the grounds are no less deluxe. There’s a second, rear motor court for accessing the garage, basketball court, infinity saltwater pool and spa.
A double-height entrance gallery opens to formal living and dining rooms, which both feature veined white marble fireplaces.
Light-filled interior spaces have white walls, sculptural furnishings, huge windows and a combination of stone and hardwood floors. A gorgeous grand piano signals that this home belongs to music lovers.
In the dining room, an oversized fireplace with a floor-to-ceiling stone adds major impact. Breezy French doors lead out to the garden.
Warm wood and white walls are California design staples. The dark furnishings create tension within the pale envelope, and the sightlines are expertly orchestrated.
A chef’s kitchen is made for entertaining with double waterfall islands. Sand-colored stone countertops and wide plank wood floors maintain the California home’s neutral palette.

This bedroom has a boutique hotel aesthetic with a cosy fireplace, backlit shelves and a curvy sofa to stretch out on.
A heated dining and lounging loggia outside the family room overlooks a velvety expanse of lawn, and an open-air pool house with a fireplace that sits slightly above a zero-edge swimming pool and spa.
Madonna would feel right at home amid the disco-style lighting in the climate-controlled wine cellar.
Set behind the pool is a large barn with white fencing surrounding the paddocks, and a small patio with a pergola that provides access to a full-sized basketball court.
We’re not sure how keen Madonna would be on shooting hoops, but The Weeknd has been spotted at Raptors’ games, so this court tracks.
