Inside Zoe Saldana’s $16.5M Beverly Hills Estate
Actress Zoe Saldana is putting her traditional, white brick estate up for US$16.5 million, according to the Robb Report. The three-storey structure was originally built in 1974, but it’s full of charming, Old Hollywood details, from the ivy-covered walls to the tennis court.
The veteran film actress — best known for her roles in Star Trek, Avatar and Guardians of the Galaxy — bought the house from model and entrepreneur Kimora Lee Simmons for $8.7 million back in spring 2016. The property is tucked away on a gated half-acre community in Hidden Valley Estates, which is also home to Adele, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicole Kidman and Penelope Cruz.

The double-height entry foyer has a curving staircase with sleek, contemporary mouldings.

Zoe has three sons and has said she wanted her home to be safe place where they didn’t feel restricted. A climbing wall in this playroom is an outlet to burn off energy, while a Plexiglass perch in the stair landing becomes an observation fort.
The house has direct access to Franklin Canyon hiking trails, but the large pool and built-in spa is shielded by tall privacy hedges.
An outdoor kitchen and dining area is shaded by a pergola inset with lattice panels that throw lacy patterns in the sunshine.
